What is SideWinder Tech?
SideWinder Tech is our very own monitoring system that the team here at PPS developed.
It’s a big deal… It’s the first piece of software designed to allow predictive maintenance in the domestic pump market.
With one of our service plans (PumpSmart or PumpSmart+), our dedicated Operations Centre is here for you 24 hours a day to act on any alerts.
You can check out the range of monitored PPS Service Plans here.
How does SideWinder Tech monitoring work?
A SideWinder-compatible device connected to your Wi-Fi will provide information to the SideWinder Tech monitoring system a minimum of every 15 minutes – or sooner should an ‘event’ occur that triggers the system.
The SideWinder Tech will then analyse this data and determine whether or not any human intervention or action is required.
If the information isn’t received, this raises the alarm and notifies the Operations Centre, who will decide what to do next.
You’ll also be sent a notification straight to your phone if we ever detect a problem!
