Waterguard Jetting Eye is a section of Waterguard Channel with a neck extension from the top of the channel which you can fit a length of pipe. This provides a jetting point to carry out periodic flushing of the Waterguard Channel drainage system.
There is no definitive requirement for a given number of inspection ports as this is taken as a judgement decision based on site conditions and length of perimeter drainage.
By installing inspection ports, other wise called Jetting Eyes, complies with the British Standard BS8102: 2009 for a maintainable Type C cavity membrane installation.
